It’s actually feels a bit scary to launch a project you thought about so much. I have had this idea in my head for some time and a few months ago after Passover I decided that I had to give it a shot. During Passover, my Mom and her friend run a 4 day camp for burn-injured children. In the camp the kids meet other kids who have undergone the same trauma and learn to cope with the scars the burns have left. After the camp was over, my mom showed me a few letters she received from some of the parents whose kids were at the camp. The positive impact the camp had on the children was amazing and I couldn’t stop thinking how this impact couldn’t have been generated without the volunteer work of a few people. It was in that moment I realized that I also wanted to make an impact and I started to think again about this idea that has been hibernating in my mind for some time. “Hey!” I told myself, ”It’s Passover, it’s spring, time to get up !” After that I started to learn more about social-impact entrepreneurship. I read about it, I went to lectures and meetups I reached out to social-impact organizations and luckily I got accepted by an amazing social entrepreneurship accelerator called A3I and started working harder on my idea – an online store for social impact products, made in Israel by people with disabilities and from underprivileged communities.
Now the idea has become a reality, like a baby that has a life of it’s own. The site you see is a  beta version, just a few products, like a baby that learns to crawl before he can walk. I hope your feedback will be positive and that you will keep visiting, shop here and see us grow, adding more products and more features. Be our partners in a social impact enterprise empowering Israel’s weakest population.
